On the Friday, 8 X-Yachts owners went out sailing for the day with Jeremy Smart from North Sails, sailing an X4.3 in the morning and an Xc45 in the afternoon. The day revolved around a series of upwind and downwind sailing legs, exploring sail trim, reefing techniques and flying Code 0 and asymmetric kites. It was a great way to share knowledge.

On Saturday, 14 X-Yachts made their way to Gunwharf Quays marina in Portsmouth Harbour. For those coming from the western Solent, there was a cruise in company out to Nab Tower before entering the harbour.

The afternoon provided a great opportunity to share stories of their sailing adventures during the year, followed by a drinks party on the pontoon.

Dinner took place at the top of the Spinnaker Tower, providing stunning views over the city, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and the Solent. We were joined by over 50 owners, family and friends, with Torben Kornum, head of world wide dealer sales for X-Yachts being our special guest. After a leisurely start to Sunday, people cast of for their home port.
